The department is responsible for managing the assets of Al Mal and of its valuable customers. Assets include both financial and real estate. Exploring the Capital Markets perennially, the department intends to invest company’s portfolio in them at the right time. It seeks to develop and manage investment funds and target capital and money markets utilizing the initial capital of Al Mal and its shareholders.
It will endeavour to deploy Al Mal assets (proprietary capital) into profitable investments through proper allocation. Close-ended Private Equity funds such as LBO, Distressed Situations Fund, Private Placements & Pre IPO’s fund and Telecom Fund and specific investment vehicles that serve special clients (Equity, commodity linked bonds/notes, arbitrage and REITs) through Open-ended Funds and portfolios will be designed and developed through our Asset Management Expertise.
